The Winter Free4All winners are up on the site!
Old world meets new world with Carles Marsal’s T’riath Tragedy. Reminiscent of a stained glass window, it’s an epic sea battle of color, pattern, and little yellow dudes with spears. Carles’s mad illustrative and photoshop skills has landed him in Adobe’s permanent collection in San José with his piece Carmesina. T’riath Tragedy is also available for iPhones, iPods, blackberries, and iPads.
Infectious old timer Nate Frizzell graced us with his aptly winter themed painting To See Her Like You’d See A Star. Nate explores the inner world with the outer worldly symbols of masks, animals, and graffiti. Look for some new work of his at his next solo show at LeBasse Projects at their new location in LA’s chinatown. Opening May 13th.
For all of you with a sweet tooth, check out Liz Lorini’s Miss Sherbet. Illustrating up a storm Miss Kika, is hard at work on a new art book of her work. She will also be joining fellow Infectious artist Junko Mizuno for Magical Girls. A show opening April 1st at Meltdown Comics in LA. Miss Sherbet is also available for iPhones, iPods, blackberries, and iPads.
