Don’t Go Behind the Clouds by Alphonzo Solorzano

San Franciscan artist Alphonzo Solorzano describes his style as “very graphic, line oriented, with a mix between rendered and flat graphic elements”, a style that he thinks might have been inspired by his constant pilfering of his older brother’s graphic novel collection when he was a kid. He has exhibited in museums, galleries and alternative art spaces in the Bay Area, Los Angeles and abroad. We actually spotted his artwork when the Infectious team went down to the Madrone Bar a couple of months back and we all fell in love with his artwork painted on vintage speaker boxes. He’s currently working on a collaborative t-shirt project with some fellow San Francisco artists.
