We’re adding a twang of Rock and Roll to our catalog today with the addition of renowned Southern rock and roll poster artist Jermaine Rogers. He’s created concert posters from everyone from The Shins, to Morrissey, to Radiohead. Today he shares with us two pieces of art featuring his trademark bunny that started off life as Foo Fighter posters. Aleppin Sane riffs off of Bowie’s legendary Aladdin Insane cover. The Clash’s London Calling album cover was the trigger for Jermaine’s Smash artwork. In the words of the man himself: “Culture is hijacked over and over again and I’m proud to do my little insignificant part in the process. I find it kind of comforting that absolutely nothing is ‘new’. We’re all fake.”
